Maji Saheba was the caretaker Begum of Bhopal. She was the mother of Hazrat Faiz Bahadur Saheb who ascended the Bhopal throne as a child. Affairs of the stae were run by Maji Saheba until his attaining adulthood. Here is a picture of the Masji built by her in the area which is now called Retghat Crossing.
