Bhopal, December 25, 2011 (Muslim Saleem): Chief Minister Mr Shivraj Singh Chouhan has
said that former Prime Minister Mr Atal Behari Vajpayee not only gave the
concept of good governance, but also set highest standards in it. All of us
have to take an oath for not leaving any stone unturned in providing good
governance to people. Chief Minister Mr Chouhan was addressing a convention of
beneficiaries and Good Governance Day function at village Mordongri in
Chhindwara district today. He also administered an oath to government officers
and employees and villagers for good governance.
Buildings of over 20 thousand Anganwadis constructed
Bhopal, December 25, 2011 (Ataullah Faizan): The process of construction of
Anganwadi centres' buildings is underway in the state. So far, 20 thousand 962
buildings of Angawadis have been completed out of 31 thousand 862 sanctioned
buildings. Construction work of rest of 10 thousand 900 buildings is going on.
There are a total of 78 929 Anganwadis in the state.

Madhya Pradesh is the only state in the country where an atmosphere has been developed in favour of daughters, but several schemes have also been implemented for their welfare. The Ladli Laxmi Yojna launched by Chief Minister Mr Shivraj Singh Chouhan from Raisen in 2007, has given the chance to girls to become ‘lakhpati’ (possessing over Rs. one lakh) since their birth.Read more…

Apart from education,
industrial other sectors, women are also making their mark as cultivators in Madhya
Pradesh. It may be mentioned that at the behest of Chief Minister Mr Shivraj
Singh Chouhan, Madhya Pradesh Women in Agriculture (MAPWA) Project is being
effectively implemented in the state. About 60 to 70 percent works in the
agriculture sector are done by rural women while they indirectly participate in
other works. The State Government has launched a new project since the year
2007-08 with a view to giving technical shape to women's participation in agriculture
and ensuring quality in the works being undertaken by women. The project covers
technical training to women farmers, inter-district tours, village-level

the State Government is not cooperating with CBI in some cases. Mr Gupta asked

Madhya Pradesh at the behest of the Union Government on the basis of which he
is saying that Madhya Pradesh is not cooperating in investigation.

Chouhan announced at Antyodaya Mela at Badnagar in Ujjain district that a sum of Rs. 10 crore
will be sanctioned for the construction of Badnagar bypass. He also announced
to sanction requisite funds for upgrading Badnagar Hospital
from 60-bed to 100-bed hospital. The Chief Minister announced to sanction Rs.
50 lakh for Badnagar
Municipality and Rs. 5
lakh for Gita Bhavan Trust, Badnagar. He assured to sanction Chamleshwar,
Chincholiya and Suklana irrigation projects after the proposals are found to be
technically correct.

CM Mr Chouhan's call to fight malnutrition

Mr
Shivraj Singh Chouhan is a Chief Minister who does not relent on
important issues. Even when he has embarked on the ambitious Beti Bachao
Abhiyan, he has not put other important issues on the backburner.
Recently, Mr Chouhan once again asked the state machinery to intensify
fight against malnutrition, reports SMS New & Features.
Chief
Minister Mr Shivraj Singh Chouhan took a meeting of officers at Satna
late on Monday night. He stressed to identify the places where condition
of children is serious due to malnutrition. On burnt-up transformers,
he said that the work of replacing them should be undertaken as per
decided norms.
