Atalji set new standards of good governance

CM Mr Chouhan dedicates Rs 47 crore development works, Good governance day function and beneficiaries convention organised
Bhopal, December 25, 2011 (Muslim Saleem): Chief Minister Mr Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that former Prime Minister Mr Atal Behari Vajpayee not only gave the concept of good governance, but also set highest standards in it. All of us have to take an oath for not leaving any stone unturned in providing good governance to people. Chief Minister Mr Chouhan was addressing a convention of beneficiaries and Good Governance Day function at village Mordongri in Chhindwara district today. He also administered an oath to government officers and employees and villagers for good governance.

The Chief Minister dedicated development worth costing Rs. 47 crore and announced to elevate Parasia Hospital to 100-bed hospital from 30-bed hospital. Assistance worth Rs. two crore 54 lakh was distributed among beneficiaries at the beneficiaries convention.
The Chief Minister said that the State Government had taken the initiative of providing good governance to people and implemented Public Service Guarantee Act by drawing inspiration from former Prime Minister Mr Vajpayee. At present, 52 services are covered under it. The Chief Minister said that a proposal is under consideration to fix support price of kodu-kutki. He informed that after completion of feeder separation work, power will become available round the clock from year 2013.
Chief Minister Mr Chouhan also dedicated and laid foundation stone of development works to the tune of Rs. 47 crore. He announced that a sub-jail will also be built at Parasia. Necessary construction works will be undertaken to develop Jilhari and Devrani Bai Ghat from tourism point of view. A bridge will be constructed over Pench River on the road from Charai and Darwai. The Chief Minister announced that new building of higher secondary schools will be constructed at Mordongri and classes of maths and science will be started from the next academic session.
Mr Chouhan announced that a 132 KV power sub-station will be set up at Umreth, new Revenue Inspector Circle at village Mordongri and Sirgora and sanctioning of Rs. 58 crore for Saunsar-Mohgaon-Mordongri Road, Rs. 48 crore for Sonapipri-Mohkhed Road and Rs. 235 crore for upgradation of Betul-Parasia Road. Chief Minister Mr Chouhan announced to provide Rs. 12 lakh 80 thousand from his discretionary fund for the treatment of 12 persons. He dedicated a 33/1 KV power sub-station at village Bhokai and 100-bed hostel built at a cost of Rs. 69 lakh 35 thousand at Mordongri.
