Madhya Pradesh Minister exposes corruption in state in BJP

Bhopal, June 13, 2012 (HMNS): Leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Ajay Singh on Tuesday congratulated State Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Gopal Bhargav upon his letter to the Chief Minister in which he has exposed the corruption instilled in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Singh in a statement said that this act of Bhargava was very inspiring as he had without any fear exposed the State Government’s misuse of funds which it received from the Central Government for the development of Bundelkhand.

Singh said that by doing this, Bhargava has fulfilled his duties towards his native land of Bundelkhand. The leader of Oppositions further said the fund that was provided to the State Government by the Centre, has been misused and it is quite inspiring that a minister of the same State Government has exposed the corruption instilled in it.

Singh alleged that the State Government has no concerns about the welfare and development of the State and the BJP’s only concern seems to be doing politics by imposing false allegations on others.

He said that the State Government has demanded an additional package of Rs 25,000 crore for the development of Bundelkhand as it has already consumed the funds provided to it by corruption. The corrupt BJP Government of the State has no right to ask for additional funds for the development of Bundelkhand, he added.

Singh informed that he will soon demand the Union Panchayat and Rural Development Minister to start a high-level probe into the matter so that the State Government’s corruption would be exposed.
