Bhopal,June 11, 2012 (HMNS) The State Congress alleged on Monday that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Government of Madhya Pradesh has plunged the State into crime. Referring to the recent cases of murder in Ujjain and Indore districts, Leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Ajay Singh in a statement said that the both these incidents are a slap on the face of the State Government and have exposed the law and order situation in the State.
Singh said, “The condition of law and order in the State is such that the criminals and anti-social elements are wandering free and the common man is forced to live under fear of murders, rapes and looting and the State Government seems helpless.”Singh has demanded a high-level probe of the murder of the Additional Commissioner of Income-tax in Ujjain as he suspects that there could be much more in this case than it meets the eye. The Leader of Opposition has alleged that the law and order of the State has gone out of the hands of the Chief Minister and the Home Minister and its control lies in the hands of criminals.
He further said that Shivraj Singh Chouhan is proving to be the weakest Chief Minister till now as he neither has any control over his Ministers nor over the criminals. He said Madhya Pradesh has emerged as a very unsafe and criminally hostile State. It seems that the people will now have to come out to face the atrocities increasing by the day as the State Government is being reckless, Singh added.
