Bhopal, June 17, 2012 (HMNS) : Leader of Opposition in the State
Assembly Ajay Singh commenting on Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s
announcement for interest free loan to farmers said it is a fraud with the
farmers of the State and asked him that first he should fulfill the promise of
waiving farmers loan of Rs 50,000, made by him in the run for the Assembly
elections in 2008.
Singh said that if the Chief
Minister would have kept his words, first he should have waived off the
farmers’ loans and then he should have made fresh announcements. Chouhan is not
well-wisher of farmers and is misleading them and this was staged at the Bittan
market dasher grounds, he added. He said that the fast of the Chief Minister
and BJP was not more than a drama.
